Do I think that God salted the ground with bones? Absolutley not. Nonsense invented by literal creationists....in my opinion.

When my kids were young they loved dinosaurs. I used to take them to our local Museum every few months to see the exhibits and there was/is a decent dinosaur exhibit with plenty of educational plaques next to the skeletons explaining how, where and when they lived. When I took them there would have been around the late 1980s and early 1990s.My kids used to go back to their Mom's and tell her and her family all about it. My ex wife never said anything to the kids but the elders and their spouses (who my ex exposed the kids to) sure did. One elder's wife in particular gave an elaborate story to my kids about how dinosaurs didn't ever really exist and that it was Jehovah who merely put the bones in the ground because he knew that kids would like them.
Both my kids were told (very strongly to the point of threatened) that they were not to talk about the explanations written on the plaques at the museum to any other (JW) kids. They were forced to adopt the idea that Jehovah had salted the ground with the bones.

Could be but it's back is so dark but that would match the redspot and also the small pointed beak. Very cute...I hope he/she survives.

I don't think it's a black throated gray warbler Blondie because there is no mention of the yellow in front of the eyes:

I does sound like some kind of warbler though however the red spot if not blood is puzlling as is the 3 wing bands it seems to have. It's almost as if it is a cross between two different species of warbler.

It's great that you feel inspired to do something to help. I can't really say which is good just which ones I currently donate through. I think it's helpful to investigate a little and find one that you think will make a difference.
I currently donate to a children's hospital locally (however kids from all over the world come here for difficult or life saving operations); a home for unwed teenaged mothers (this place gives them shelter, food, daycare and pays tuition to help the Mom's become able to support themselves and their children); U.N.I.C.E.F. http://www.unicef.org/ ; Christian Children's Fund http://www.ccfcanada.ca
My donations to CCF is somewhat dulicitous to UNICEF in that UNICEF provides grants to CCF but as the old saying oges there is more than one way to skin a cat and CCF has gained my confidence and respect over the last few years. You may like the CCF as they send you reports on how the kids are doing with letters from the kids. Personally I would rather they use the extra money for the kids rather than reports but it is a marignal amount used for this and on the whole I am pleased with them.

Kristi died about 30 mins. ago
by Frannie Banannie infor those of yall that didn't know, kristi was a 37-yr-old ms patient that i took care of for the last year of her life.
she had a wonderful ribald sense of humor and talked like a sailor at times.
but it was all to cover up the ultra-sweet and tender heart she had.

I am sad for you Franny but I am also rejoicing knowing that there are people such as yourself selflessly giving to others physically and emotionally for the sake of kindness and humanity.
You're a sweet and wonderful woman and I wish you well during your time of grieving.

Watchtower and UN?
by rambaldi inis this issue of the watchtower being part of the un department of public information of any significance?
at the district conventions of jehovahs witnesses there are flags of the united states and other sovereign government such as states or other countries hanging from the buildings.
the governing body and the watchtower society rent buildings which become the equivalent of kingdom halls for the weekend.

I think Rimabaldi is just some kind of hit and run troll. He got a fairly good rebuttle to this on another forum but he couldn't respond. He just seems to run from site to site like some kind of programmed mindless JW.
I thought this response on the other site was good:
Once again Rimbaldi...
Comments:
You have spewed misinformation and backwards deciet. Let's recap. For decades the Watchtower has held the position that the United Nations (U.N.) is an organization controlled secretely by none other than Satan himself and is the famous "beast" as referred to in the book of Revelation. The Watchtower has insisted that God will destroy the the United Nations at the battle of Armaggedon (however the Watchtower and Jehovah's Witnesses keep falsely setting dates/years with nothing happening thus far). After decades of slamming the U.N. and the Catholic Church who you refer to as the harlot in Revelation (who is, according to JWs "in bed with" the beast - U.N.), the Watchtower joined the U.N. secretely as an "N.G.O." This is more involved than the manner in which you are trying to present in your post. As an N.G.O., the Watchtower agreed to spread good news about the U.N. and help to further the U.N.'s cause. This is the reason that there were so many articles in JW magazines in the 1990s which were pro U.N. Only when their secret came to light about this obvious hypcracy did the Watchtower remove themselves as an N.G.O. - almost after 10 years of being "in bed with" the U.N. secretely. Obviously their behaviour is impossible to reconcile with beliefs which they have been telling all JWs to embrace. This is the reason why so many JWs, like yourself, lie to themselves about what really occurred. Kind of like being an ostrich and putting your head in the sand. Be a man Rimbaldi and stop allowing yourself to be controlled by old farts who mock their own blind followers with dumb lies. -

"Crappy Canadian Live8" and 'Didn't get to see other international shows'
Ya Brian Adam's (the writer of "Tears Are Not Enough") sucked. So did Deep Purple, Motley Crue, Niel Young, etc and the hosts comedians Dan Aykroyd and Tom Green sucked. Simple Plan, who managed to successfully turn the entire crowd of 40,000 people into one large mosh pit (something I have never seen before in spite of having attended over 50 rock concerts since the 70s), .......well they sucked too. Can't forget also about Jet, currently Australia's #1 band, who were at the Canadian show...they sucked
When I got home I watched it on sucky Canadian t.v. and saw Pink Floyd.....and stayed up 4 hours watching highlights from concerts around the world.......well I guess our sucky local cable t.v service is not as bad as other sucky Canadian cable t.v networks.
